Our Goals
Pittsburgh Cardiothoracic Associates provide the highest quality
cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgical consultation services to residents
of Western Pennsylvania and Greater Pittsburgh. Our group specializes
in coronary bypass surgery (for angina, heart
failure and heart attack),
heart valve surgery (including valve repair
and minimally invasive mitral
valve and aortic valve replacement), OPCAB
(beating-heart coronary bypass and MIDCAB) as well as the Maze
and Mini-Maze procedure for atrial fibrillation. Our physicians
also perform vascular surgery for aneurysm, arterial
occlusive disease and stroke (thoracic
aorta, abdominal aorta, carotid endarterectomy
and endovascular
stent graft repair of thoracic and abdominal
aneurysm), lung
cancer and esophageal
surgery (for cancer, acid reflux and benign disease), pacer and
defibrillator insertion.
