Pittsburgh Heart's Mission
Pittsburgh Heart's experienced instructors are committed to teaching BLS (Basic Life Support), CPR ( cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and first aid training. We understand the demands of everyday life and strive to make our classes convenient and easy to learn. We offer classes minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, PA at our comfortable, convenient location, and we're willing to travel to teach large groups. Our Instructor are certified to issue certifications thought the American Heart Association and Health and Safety Institute. In addition to teaching BLS, CPR, and First aid, we also host suicide prevention seminars. We use these seminars to promote positive body image, anti-bullying, and recovery after the loss of a loved one. It is our mission to save lives thought community training.
Certified and Experienced Instructors
Pittsburgh Heart requires our instructors to meet base level certification requirements for a minimum of 4 years with the American Heart Association, Red Cross, or Health and Safety Institute. We also require our Instructors to have life experience working in either the criminal justice or medical fields. This allows Pittsburgh Heart to offer quality educational training.
Administer CPR with Confidence
Our class curriculum conforms to current guidelines set by the American Heart Association and Health and Safety Institute. We guarantee once you complete the certification course, you will have the skills necessary to effectively administer quality BLS, CPR, and/or first aid to infants, children, and adults.
